Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?<\/h3>

Both work at INKD BUNNY. Custom, larger or detailed pieces are done by appointment so your artist has time to design<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and prepare properly. But we also keep original walk-in flash available \u2014 ready-to-go designs you can get the same day,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

no long consultation needed. Just stop by the studio on Paseo Mar\u00edtimo or message us first to check what’s free.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How do I book a consultation?<\/h3>
\n

Message us through the website, Instagram, or in person with your idea, size, placement and any reference images. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll talk it through, confirm a design direction, and schedule your session.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Is a deposit required?<\/h3>
\n

Yes, for booked appointments. A deposit secures your slot and covers the design time your artist puts in beforehand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s deducted from the final price and is non-refundable if you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walk-in flash is paid in full on the day, no deposit needed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What’s the minimum age, and what ID do I need?<\/h3>
\n

You must be 18 or older and bring valid photo ID (passport or national ID card) to every appointment, as required under Spanish and Canary Islands tattoo regulation. We do not tattoo minors, even with parental consent.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What languages does the team speak?<\/h3>
\n

Consultations are available in English, Spanish, German, Czech and Slovak, so most visitors can talk through their design in their own language.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How far in advance should I book for a custom piece?<\/h3>
\n

For simple pieces, a few days’ notice is often enough. For larger custom designs or multi-session work, we recommend reaching out 3\u20134 weeks before your trip so there’s time to design, get your feedback and lock in a date.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?<\/h3>
\n

Yes, just let us know as early as possible. Rescheduling with more than 48 hours’ notice is free and your deposit carries over; cancelling with less notice means the deposit is forfeited, since that slot can’t be offered to someone else.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What is “original walk-in” tattooing?<\/h3>
\n

It’s our answer to spontaneous holiday ink: a rotating sheet of one-off flash designs, drawn in-house and never repeated once tattooed. Just browse the available designs, pick your size and placement, and get tattooed the same visit at a fixed price.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do you do memorial or tribute tattoos?<\/h3>
\n

Yes \u2014 some of the most meaningful work we do. Whether it’s honouring a person or a pet you’ve lost, marking a date, or capturing a chapter of your life, we take time to understand what the piece needs to say before designing it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That includes travel-memory tattoos too \u2014 plenty of guests want to take a piece of their time in Tenerife home with them.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can a memorial tattoo include a name, portrait or handwriting?<\/h3>
\n

Yes. Lettering, portrait work, fine-line florals, symbolic imagery and reproductions of real handwriting are all things we design regularly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Portraits and handwriting pieces usually need a bit more consultation time, so let us know in advance.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I bring my own design, or does it have to be original?<\/h3>
\n

You’re welcome to bring reference images, sketches or a rough idea, and we’ll develop it with you into something that works well as a tattoo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Directly copying another artist’s finished piece isn’t something we do, out of respect for their work \u2014 but we love taking inspiration and making it your own.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do you cover up old or unwanted tattoos?<\/h3>
\n

Yes. Cover-ups need a short consultation so we can look at the existing tattoo, discuss what’s realistically achievable in size, colour and darkness, and design something you’ll be happy to wear over it.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

DESIGN, PRICING & CONSULTATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

How much does a tattoo cost?<\/h3>
\n

Pricing depends on size, placement, detail and session length. Walk-in flash is priced individually next to the design;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

custom work is quoted after your consultation once we know exactly what’s involved.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do you tattoo in black-and-grey and colour?<\/h3>
\n

Yes, both. Tell us your preference during the consultation, and we can advise on what will age best for your skin tone and the placement you have in mind.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I get text tattooed in a language I don’t speak myself?<\/h3>
\n

We’re careful with this. If you want lettering in a language neither you nor your artist speaks fluently, we ask you to get the exact wording confirmed by a native speaker first, since a small translation or grammar error becomes permanent.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do you offer numbing cream during the session?<\/h3>
\n

We don\u2019t use or offer typical anesthetic numbing creams. Lidocaine-based numbing creams can negatively affect both, your health and the quality of the healing process, so we\u2019ve chosen not to work with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That said, we do offer a natural alternative with a soothing effect, and we use specially modified needles (\u201cTX\u201d needles) that are much gentler on the epidermis and cause less pain during the tattooing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Given our dermatological, medical, and tattooing background, we\u2019re not in favor of the conventional numbing creams available on the market. At our studio, minimizing health risks for our clients and ensuring the best possible healing quality for our work are top priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this reason, if a client were to apply any of these products before their session with us, we would unfortunately have to cancel the appointment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our clients\u2019 health always comes first, and we don\u2019t make exceptions on this point.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I bring a friend along for support?<\/h3>
\n

Yes, of course you\u2019re welcome to bring someone along for support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your companion will simply need to go through our hygiene check-in process and be briefed on our hygiene regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That said, they not touch you or the tattoo artist\u2019s workspace under any circumstances, and they need to respect the artist\u2019s need for calm and concentration while working.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

HYGIENE, MATERIALS & WHAT SETS US APART<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What pigments do you use?<\/h3>
\n

Only REACH-compliant pigments meeting current EU chemical safety regulation for tattoo inks \u2014 tested against strict limits for heavy metals, carcinogens and other restricted substances, the highest safety standard currently available in Europe.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What needles do you work with?<\/h3>
\n

We tattoo only with single use – sterile packaged TX (textured) needles, a newer design with a micro-textured surface that holds pigment more evenly and releases it more smoothly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In practice: cleaner linework, softer shading, and less trauma to the skin during longer sessions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Are your single-use supplies eco friendly?<\/h3>
\n

Wherever a disposable is used \u2014 grips, cup holders, razors and similar items \u2014 we choose biodegradable alternatives instead of standard plastic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to this small decision, we save the environment from 320.96 kg of plastic waste every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that by getting your tattoo done with us, you too are helping to minimize the environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is “Second Skin,” and will I get it after my tattoo?<\/h3>
\n

A thin, UV-protective adhesive film applied straight after your session. It keeps water, bacteria and dirt out while healing starts, blocks harmful UV during the first days, and lets you shower and enjoy your holiday without constant re-bandaging.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Is your equipment sterilised?<\/h3>
\n

No. In our studio, we exclusively use only single-use materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

None of our tools are ever reused on another client!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our clients\u00b4 health & safety is our top priority.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

HEALTH & SAFETY \u2014 WHEN WE MAY NEED TO POSTPONE OR DECLINE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Can I get tattooed while pregnant or breastfeeding?<\/h3>
\n

No \u2014 we don’t tattoo during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hormonal changes affect healing, and there isn’t enough safety data on pigment exposure in this time to justify the risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another factor to consider is the possible suppression of breast milk production due to increased stress hormones following the tattooing process.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I get tattooed with a sunburn or fresh tan?<\/h3>
\n

Not straight away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunburnt, peeling or very freshly tanned skin is more fragile and heals unpredictably, so tattoo requires special aftercare. For small tattoos it’s not such a big deal, but for larger projects it’s better to wait a few days.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What if I have eczema, psoriasis or a rash at the placement site?<\/h3>
\n

If the area has an active flare-up, we’ll usually ask you to wait until it’s calm, or suggest a different spot.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can you tattoo over a mole, cut or wound?<\/h3>
\n

We tattoo around moles rather than through them, so a dermatologist can still monitor them, and any cut or wound at the site needs to be fully healed first. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I get tattooed if I have a blood-clotting disorder or take blood thinners?<\/h3>
\n

Blood-clotting disorders like haemophilia significantly increase bleeding and bruising risk, usually needing medical clearance first. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blood thinners also increase bleeding \u2014 tell us what you’re taking, we may ask you to check with your doctor.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I get tattooed if I have diabetes?<\/h3>
\n

Well-controlled diabetes usually isn’t a barrier, but we’ll ask a few questions first, since healing is slower and infection risk higher when blood sugar isn’t well managed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What if I have an active infection or fever on the day?<\/h3>
\n

We’ll reschedule. Your body needs its resources for fighting illness, not healing a fresh tattoo, so it’s safer to wait until you’re well.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I get tattooed while on immunosuppressants, chemotherapy, or Accutane?<\/h3>
\n

A weakened immune system heals more slowly and is more vulnerable to infection, so we’ll talk it through and may ask for medical clearance. If you’ve taken isotretinoin (Accutane), we ask you to wait at least 6\u201312 months after finishing, since it thins the skin significantly.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I get tattooed if I have a heart condition or epilepsy?<\/h3>
\n

Some heart conditions carry a small risk of infection reaching the heart via the bloodstream, so clearance may be needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Epilepsy isn’t an automatic no either, but stress and long sitting can be triggers, so we’ll ask you to check with your doctor and bring someone along.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What if I’m prone to fainting?<\/h3>
\n

Tell us in advance if you have a history of fainting during procedures \u2014 we can pace the session, make sure you’ve eaten beforehand, and take breaks as needed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What if I have allergies or scar easily (keloids)?<\/h3>
\n

Let us know about allergies to pigments, latex or adhesives so we can patch test or switch products. Keloid-prone skin carries a higher risk of an unpredictable result, but we can talk through placement and technique to reduce that.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I get tattooed after drinking alcohol or using drugs?<\/h3>
\n

No \u2014 we won’t tattoo anyone intoxicated. Alcohol thins the blood, increases bleeding, and impairs the judgement needed to give proper consent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please come sober.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I get tattooed near a recent surgery site?<\/h3>
\n

The area needs to be fully healed first, generally at least a few months, sometimes with a doctor’s clearance depending on the procedure.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

DURING YOUR HOLIDAY & AFTERCARE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Can I still go to the beach or pool with a fresh tattoo?<\/h3>
\n

Avoid direct submersion in the sea, pool or hot tub for at least the first two weeks \u2014 salt water, chlorine and bacteria can interfere with healing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second Skin gives some protection for short periods, but avoid sunbathing directly on a fresh, uncovered tattoo.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How do I look after my tattoo while I’m still travelling?<\/h3>
\n

Leave the first film on for the time your artist recommends, then switch to gentle washing with fragrance-free soap and a thin layer of healing balm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll send written aftercare instructions in your language, and you’re always welcome to send photos if anything looks off.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Is it safe to fly home shortly after getting tattooed?<\/h3>
\n

Flying itself isn’t a problem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just keep the area covered and protected during travel, stay hydrated, and continue your aftercare routine as instructed once you’re home.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

When can I put sunscreen on my tattoo, and do I need to worry about the sun long-term?<\/h3>
\n

Wait until your tattoo is fully healed, usually around 2\u20134 weeks, before applying sunscreen directly on it. After that, SPF 50+ is one of the best things you can do for a tattoo’s long-term colour, since UV exposure is the main reason tattoos fade over the years.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What should I do if my tattoo looks irritated or infected while I’m still on holiday?<\/h3>
\n

Message us a clear photo straightaway. Mild redness and warmth in the first couple of days is normal, but spreading redness, pus, fever or worsening pain isn’t. If we’re concerned it’s an infection, we’ll tell you plainly and recommend a pharmacist or doctor rather than guessing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What payment methods do you accept?<\/h3>
\n

Card and cash are both accepted in the studio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deposits for online or messaged bookings are paid by card or transfer.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Is there a minimum tattoo size or price?<\/h3>
\n

Yes, we have a minimum charge covering setup and materials regardless of design size \u2014 we’ll confirm the current minimum when you get in touch, as it varies between walk-in and custom bookings.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do you sell gift vouchers?<\/h3>
\n

Yes \u2014 gift vouchers are available in the studio or by request, for a fixed amount or towards a specific design. A nice gift for someone planning to visit Tenerife.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
